EATING OUT

Eating Out in North Norfolk - local restaurants

These restaurants tend to be busy during the holiday season.

Morston Hall - Main Coast Road, Morston Hall (01263 741041)

Morston Hall has a very good reputation for good quality formal dining at a reasonable price. Described as providing “course after course of pure gastronomic heaven”. “ Fabulous, rather than traditional cooking and good wines”. The Hall is a 17th-century house set in lovely gardens on the North Norfolk coast. App £36.00 for 3 courses. This restaurant gets very booked at weekends; it may be easier to get a table during the week.

Yetman’s – 37 Norwich Road, Holt (01263) 713320

Well-established, good food, our favourite. Relaxed atmosphere and sometimes service. Peter Yetman waits on tables wearing trainers whilst his wife cooks. The two small dining rooms feel cosy and friendly. Modern British cooking, in the main using excellent fresh local produce. Peter Yetman has a particularly good knowledge of wine and is happy to impart his knowledge. App. £42.00 3 courses.
