The Swimming Pool at Cranmer Country Cottages - Norfolk
We have constructed a new, modern and comprehensively equipped indoor swimming pool in the old Threshing Barn at Home Farm Cranmer.
The setting is unusual and dramatic, the completely up to date swimming pool contrasting with the Victorian barn.
The pool is a heated, indoor, deck level pool with Jet Stream and the pool hall has full climate control.
This is a specially built facility, designed and approved for unsupervised use, with changing and shower areas
The pool is for the use of cottage residents for at least eight hours a day during peak season and at other times is available for non-resident private subscribers.
Cottage residents can use the pool on a shared basis at the specified times. In addition, unused private slots will be available at short notice. These are normally 1 hour sessions and can be exclusive
The showers and changing rooms are heated. There is also a private shower and the pool can be entered using wide shallow steps with a handrail.
The swimming pool is fully tiled with a sophisticated, modern filtration system that is highly effective yet uses very low levels of chlorine.
Swimming Tuition available for all ages. Learn to swim in the privacy of our heated indoor swimming pool.
ASA qualified instructor available for tuition for groups of up to 8 people or one to one.
Nervous pupils of all ages, Mothers and toddlers, beginners, improvers, post operative Joint injury rehabilitation, physiotherapy.
Intensive 1 week courses available October - December, January to March, April - May.
Childrens courses during school holidays subject to availability.
All swimming courses are subject to availability and bookable when you book your holiday.

Swimmers must provide their own towels
No inflatables, masks or flippers allowed
Health & Safety rules must be obeyed
No lifeguard, self regulated site
Infants must wear aqua nappies
Pool used strictly at user's risk
Key deposit payable in advance
Time slots must be honoured
Personal property left at owner's risk
Pool use form must be signed first
Children to be supervised by a parent/guardian
Children 6 months or under are not pemitted to swim.
Infants must wear proper rubber lined swim trunks – an aqua nappy is not sufficient.

Pool is available for the use of Cranmer Country Cottages guests only, not their visitors.
